A QR code takes your audience to the event ballot. Instead of reading out a web address, display the code on a projector or share it in print. Voting opens in the browser, with no app to install.

The event QR opens the shared voting address. If you need to distribute individual access, Zapop also lets you generate anonymous passes with their own QR codes. Choose the access mode before preparing your materials and test a voter’s journey. A shared code and an individual pass serve different purposes: a QR is a way to open access, not proof of someone’s identity.
Prepare the QR for your venue
Place the code somewhere visible, with contrast and clear space around it. Test scanning on a phone from the actual distance of the tables or audience seats. Keep the link available as an alternative for anyone who cannot scan the code. The event address becomes fixed once it leaves draft, preserving access from materials you have already distributed.
Open, collect and reveal
Add your options, open voting in the dashboard and direct the audience to the QR code. Each person follows the configured access flow and chooses on their phone. Once you finish collecting votes, close voting and reveal the result on screen at your chosen moment. Before the event, check that Wi-Fi or mobile coverage reaches every seat.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print the QR code?
Yes. You can put event access on posters or tables. Test a sample print before producing all your materials; for individual access, use the passes generated for that purpose.
Does the QR code allow offline voting?
No. The QR opens the event address; the phone still needs internet access to load the ballot and submit a vote.
