A QR code takes your audience to the event ballot. Instead of reading out a web address, display the code on a projector or share it in print. Voting opens in the browser, with no app to install.

The event QR code opens the shared voting page. If you need to hand out individual access, Zapop can also generate anonymous passes, each with its own QR code. Choose the access mode before preparing your materials, and test it the way a voter would. A QR code gives access to the ballot; it doesn’t prove who is voting.
Prepare the QR for your venue
Place the code somewhere visible, with good contrast and clear space around it. Test scanning with a phone from where people will actually sit. Keep the link handy for anyone who can’t scan the code. Once the event leaves draft, its address is fixed, so materials you’ve already handed out keep working.
Open, collect and reveal
Add your options, open voting in the dashboard and point the audience to the QR code. Each person joins the way you set up and votes on their phone. When you’re done collecting votes, close voting and reveal the result on screen when you choose. Before the event, check that Wi-Fi or mobile coverage reaches every seat.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print the QR code?
Yes. You can put the event QR code on posters or tables. Print a test copy before producing all your materials. For individual access, use the voter passes.
Does the QR code allow offline voting?
No. The QR opens the event address; the phone still needs internet access to load the ballot and submit a vote.
